Pictures and stats

I promised pictures!  I have a few to offer.

Colin had his 15-month appointment about a week ago.  He is almost 32" tall (70th percentile), 25.5 pounds (65th percentile), and 19" head (80th percentile).  No concerns about his growth or health.  He handled shots well.  Peter has taken him to the past 2 doctor's appointments, and he said that when the shots are done, he signs to Colin "all done," and he will immediately calm down.  It's nice to know he understands us!

Anyway, the pictures.

Saying "Cheese" for a picture for Peter.  Except he wouldn't take the quesadilla out of his mouth long enough for a real smile.  Still eats well, although his intake has slowed by about 30% this week.

Reading one of his current favorite books: Are you a Cow?  He loves to violently shake his head "No" to every page.

He also enjoys wearing his sunglasses at night.

This toddler-sized hat barely fits on his big noggin.  He looked skeptical of it at daycare.

One of my co-workers makes jam; she gave us some for Christmas.  Colin loves jam.

We got this Hot Wheels mat for his birthday (but we don't have any Hot Wheels yet).  He makes us get it out of the toy chest so he can snuggle with it.

He helps out with chores by Swiffering.  However, lounging on the toy box and pushing your blocks around on the floor is not helpful.

Proof that we can still clean up and look like human beings.  This was our official membership photo for church.

Also, proof that Colin hasn't run off Ella.  I took her to get her nails trimmed yesterday, and she tried to escape in the parking lot.  Good times!

Hopefully I will take lots of pictures at Christmas and have pictures to share from our time with Peter's family.  Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season!
